Snooze Inn is located only minutes walk away from the centre of the Valley in Wickham Street. Fortitude Valley has been long renowned for its vast array of cosmopolitan restaurants and cafes, and is also home to Brisbane's very own colorful Chinatown. It is Brisbane's most popular choice for lovers of live music, and atmospheric bars and nightclubs. Fortitude Valley is a stone's throw away from James St New Farm, or the Emporium food and shopping area, for those of you looking for something 'exclusive'. A 5 minute drive down the road is Brisbane's famous Breakfast Creek Hotel overlooking the Brisbane River. You can't go past the Brekky Creek for a hip venue and an amazing vibe whether you are looking for a great steak, an afternoon coffee and laze about, or a casual drink. For sightseers, you might like to explore Brisbane City, just one train station or a 15 minute stroll away; or two stops for the glorious Roma Street Parklands. Also in the vicinity is the Royal Brisbane Hospital and RNA (Ekka) Showground. Brochures/maps or some more friendly advice will be available at our reception. ( Sports and Fitness ) If you are an exercise buff, you might like to take a walk to Fitness First on Brunswick St, or the Valley Pool on Wickham St which includes a 50m swimming pool as well as a fitness centre and other facilities. Or if you are the outdoorsy type, you will find bike paths that run from the Valley all the way along the Brisbane River past Newstead and Breakfast Creek wharf.

Directions

Trains leave from the airport or Roma Street bus terminal. Take any line to the city and get off at Brunswick St train station. (If you are coming from the airport or north of the city, this will be one stop before Central station; and one stop after Central if you are coming from Roma Street or south of the city.) City trains from the airport cost $13.50 Once out of Brunswick St train station, take a right turn onto Brunswick St and walk about 100 metres until you reach St Pauls Terrace. Turn right and you will find Snooze Inn about 150 metres on your right. By Bus Coach Trans run a shuttle from the airport every half an hour, and will deliver you directly across the road. This service costs around $13 one-way. Coach Trans can also be a very economical way to travel to the Gold Coast or other places of interest. By Car / Taxi Ask the driver/taxi to pull up on the corner of Amelia Street and St Paul's Terrace, directly in front of Snooze Inn (UBD Ref Map 19 A9). There is no onsite drop-off or parking area. A taxi from the airport could cost around $25. Parking We don't have parking but Snooze Inn makes things easy, offering conveniently located and secure parking at Valley Metro for hotel guests at a discounted rate of $10 (standard rate is $18). Parking is located in Alfred St, behind the Snooze Inn. Reception will provide you with a voucher. Ask at our reception and we will be happy to assist you with any other transport needs.
